August: Answered Prayers

August has been a beautiful reminder that God is faithful in both the big moments and the quiet ones. From answered prayers for friendship and community to unexpected changes, physical healing, and seeing people encounter Jesus through INSPIRE, this month has given me so many reasons to pause and recognize God's goodness.

One of the biggest things this month has been friendship. My friends came back for college, and we have been spending so much time together. Honestly, they have been an answer to prayers I had been praying for months. I prayed for good, godly friendships and for people I could truly do life with, and now I get to look around and realize that God heard those prayers.

My roommate also recently left to follow where she felt the Lord was leading her. While it wasn't necessarily what I expected, I'm learning that sometimes God changes our circumstances because He wants to do something different in us.

August has also brought some exciting progress with my ankle! I am officially out of my boot and no longer having to depend on a brace. I'm still doing physical therapy almost every day, and while I'm definitely not at 100%, I'd say I'm around 70% which is a HUGE improvement from where I was. I'm thankful for every bit of progress and trusting God with the rest of the healing process.

And while all of that has been happening personally, things have also been picking back up with INSPIRE. Our events have started again, and I've been doing a lot of digital design work behind the scenes. It's been so exciting to see everything come back to life and to watch what God is doing through this ministry.

We just had an event in Fiji, and we saw 16 people give their lives to Jesus and 19 people baptized in the Holy Spirit!

One story in particular has stayed with me. We encountered a 14-year-old girl who gave her life to Christ. The very next day, she was baptized in the Holy Spirit and received her very first Bible.

Hearing that filled my heart with so much joy.

This is why we go. This is why we say yes. This is why the work matters.

There is a girl somewhere who needs to know that Jesus loves her. And getting to be even a small part of that is something I will never take for granted.

And now, I'm getting ready for what's next!

I officially have my flights and hotel booked for Budapest in November, and I am SO ready to see what God is going to do. I'm praying over the people we will meet, the conversations we'll have, and every opportunity we will have to minister and share the love of Jesus.
