First Month with INSPIRE
Hi family and friends! Thank you so much for everything you’ve done to help me get here. Your partnership has meant so much. I’m so excited to share a bit of what’s been happing my first month here in Springfield!
Ministry Update
I arrived in Springfield on February 14th and spent the first few days getting settled into my apartment. I officially started with INSPIRE on the 18th, where I was introduced to the amazing women I’ll be serving alongside and began stepping into my role in the ministry.
One of my main areas of involvement has been with the production team. I’ve been helping create graphics for upcoming events, including carousel slides, news letters, podcasts, organizing pastors’ notes, and preparing translated materials so our content can reach even more women. Another big part of my role has been helping prepare event boxes. These include everything needed for hosting our events, and INSPIRE truly values the little details that help every woman and girl feel seen and special. We’ve already sent out box’s to Lithuania, Valencia, Querétaro, and Iceland.
Recently, I also had the opportunity to attend an event hosted by Convoy of Hope celebrating International Women's Day. I came as a representative of INSPIRE. It was inspiring to meet so many incredible women who are serving Christ around the world and impacting nations through their work. I even had the chance to hear Lauren Daigle sing and speak, which was a really special moment. Her humility and heart for the Lord were so encouraging to see.
We’re also doing some reorganizing in our building since we share the space with another ministry. We’ve been blessed with two additional rooms! In the coming week, I’ll be helping with the moving process as we expand our packing space, which will make preparing for events much easier. The office has been pretty quiet recently because most of us have been heading out to the events we’re hosting. Norway, Bucharest, Constanta, Lithuania and Valencia have already happened. We have had 34 salvations, 44 healings, 26 Holy Spirit Baptisms, and 51 bibles given away!! To God be ALL the glory! It’s been so special just to see all the testimonies from the women and girls that have came back from the events.
Looking ahead, I’m excited for an upcoming opportunity to serve internationally. In April, I will be traveling to Iceland from April 19–29 to help serve at an Inspire event. During those ten days, I will be helping prepare and set up the event, assist in welcoming the mission team, and support the overall coordination as we host the gathering on April 24–25. After the event, I’ll help with teardown before returning to Springfield.
Personal Update
Being here in Springfield has been a challenging but incredibly meaningful season. While adjusting to a new city hasn’t always been easy, I truly believe I am exactly where God has called me to be. Since stepping into this role, I feel like the Lord has been calling me higher and teaching me how to steward this opportunity well. I care deeply about the mission of reaching the next girl, and everything I help create or work on is to reach these women and children around the world. It means so much to know that the work we do is helping people feel seen, valued, and loved by Christ.
I’ve settled into my apartment and am continuing to adjust to living on my own. I’m slowly finding my rhythm here in the city. While I haven’t met many people my age yet, the Lord has already provided a sweet reminder that He is working in the details. I actually met a friend through a simple conversation with my waitress at a restaurant, and we connected right away. It’s been encouraging to start building friendships here.
Finding a church home has been one of the biggest transitions. I’m currently visiting different churches as I pray about where the Lord wants me to get plugged in and serve. I have started to attend a young adults at one of the church’s. Building community in a new place takes time, but I’m trusting that God is preparing the right place and people.
In the middle of all the change, I’ve been learning a lot of new life skills. I’ve been cooking more, working on meal planning, and finding creative ways to spend my time. I’ve also been drawing, painting, and doing puzzles. While this season has brought moments of loneliness, it has also been a time of growth and maturity. I’m learning how to navigate life in a new way, and through it all I’m reminded that God is always with me.
One of the biggest blessings has been the support from the women I work with through Inspire. They have been incredibly encouraging during this transition and have helped me begin building connections in the community. I’m so thankful for the team the Lord has placed around me.
