September: Gather & Go

From Missouri to the nations, this month has been full of opportunities to serve, connect, and see God at work.

I can hardly believe how quickly this season is moving! The past month has been full of ways to serve, connect with women, and see God continue to open doors through INSPIRE. From local events here in Missouri to preparing for ministry worldwide, there is so much to be thankful for. I’m excited to share a little bit about what God has been doing lately and what’s coming up next!

Last month, I represented INSPIRE at two wonderful gatherings: Calvary Christian and the SOMO Women’s Retreat. Both were deeply encouraging experiences, and I’m so grateful for the chance to connect with women and share more about our mission.

One of those events was held at my home church right here in Springfield, making it especially meaningful. It was a joy to have my church family see up close what I do and catch a vision for the ministry. Around 100 women and girls gathered, dedicating themselves to sharing their faith with the next girl. It was incredible to witness so many willing to step out in faith and share what God has done.

Two weeks later, I traveled to southern Missouri for the SOMO Women’s Retreat. I hosted an INSPIRE table where women could learn more about our work and build genuine relationships. At last year’s retreat, they raised funds to support our Iceland event. Having attended that trip in April, I loved being able to share stories from INSPIRE Iceland and tell them firsthand about my experience. During this year’s gathering, they raised an astonishing $11,000 for missions! I’ve rarely seen such a generous group of women, so eager to give and driven by a genuine desire to see others come to know Christ. Their passion was truly inspiring.

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been busy prepping shipments for our upcoming fall calendar. With events ahead in Macedonia, Malta, Stockholm, and Nicaragua, I’ve been helping pack and send all the necessary supplies and merchandise. We are so close to having everything shipped out, which builds even more excitement as we look toward next year!

Looking ahead to November, our teams will be in Greece, Budapest, Germany, Prague, and Liverpool. Since I’ll be heading to Budapest myself, I’m deep into preparations for the trip. I will be leaving the 7th of November so please keep me in your prayers as I get ready to leave! I’m expectant to see what God will do through this event and deeply thankful for the chance to take part.

Amidst the busy season, something wonderful happened—I got to see my brother! He was on a work trip in Arkansas, so I drove over for the day to catch up. Even though life is hectic for both of us, we carved out time to be together, and it was such a sweet visit.

Living farther away definitely makes me miss the comfort of having family nearby, but it also makes moments like that all the sweeter. I’m so glad I’ll be home for Christmas, and knowing I’ll see them soon gives me something wonderful to look forward to!

Thank you for continuing to pray for me and support my work with INSPIRE. I am so grateful for each of you and for the part you play in this ministry. Your prayers and encouragement mean the world to me. I’m excited to keep sharing how God is moving and see where He leads next!
